Bible Bowl - We participate in a monthly Bible Bowl competition on the second Monday of each month. Competitors are challenged with 25 open book questions and 10 closed book questions. Banners are awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners.
Challenge Youth Conference www.cyconline.com - CYC is a weekend youth rally held in Gatlinburg, TN.
Evangelism University www.evangelismuniversity.net - EU is held in Savannah, TN, and is designed for mature young people who are interested in reaching out to their friends and family with the Gospel..
Lads to Leaders www.lads-to-leaders.org - Lads to Leaders is a Christian training program designed to equip young people with tools to be leaders in the church. There are four conventions held in Atlanta, GA, Indianapolis, IN, Nashville, TN, and Orlando, FL. We currently attend the convention in Nashville.
Maywood Christian Camp www.maywoodchristiancamp.com - Maywood is a camp in Hamilton, AL, and is designed for young people to get to know new friends and grow spiritually.
Mission Outreaches - The Atlas church of Christ is dedicated to several mission works around the United States and around the world. The Atlas Youth Ministry has been involved in several state-side mission efforts which include missions in Alabama, Mississippi, and North Carolina.
Songs of Summer - During the Summer, area youth groups get together at the University of North Alabama's Christian Student Center www2.una.edu/csc for an hour of singing.
Summer In The Son - SITS is a summer program for our K-6th graders held every other week. Students learn songs, Bible lessons, and enjoy fun activities.
Summer Youth Series/ Winter Youth Series - The Shoals area is blessed to have several congregations of the Lord's church. During the Summer, many youth groups from these congregations get together each week to sing and hear a lesson geared toward teenagers. During the fall/winter, these meetings continue on a monthly basis.
TITUS Camp www.hcu.edu (click on TITUS camp logo) - Teens In Training For Useful Service is a camp held on the campus of Heritage Christian University. It is a weeklong camp that offers its campers an opportunity to learn how to put together a Bible lesson/sermon, and teach or preach that lesson in front of a local congregation.
